In an attempt to stop the temptation of shopping I am merely going to show some of the sale items currently on offer that have caught my eye recently. Repeat after me… I will not buy everything….I will not buy everything…I will not…oh maybe just the one then 😉

Blouses and why I can never leave TK Maxx without at least one…
My favourite picks from the sale at The Remedi
I receive lots of emails from clothing sites, all trying to tempt me with their shiny wares. Including The Remedi who stock beautiful clothes, lots of silk dresses, tops and accessories but alas my purse is normally scared into a hidey place by the prices so I instead stalk their sales.
So when their recent sales email tumbled into my inbox I couldn’t resist a little peek at what they had on offer. Here are some of my favourite pieces. Continue reading
Autumn is here, & so are new collections from Hobbs & Mango
As we edge nearer to Winter our pastel coloured clothes are carefully stored away till next year *sigh*, and out come the warm knits, the woollen skirts and cosy coats in woodland colours. This Autumn/Winter is it all about deep reds like ox-blood and crimson, tweeds and leather.
Hobbs new collection includes a range of printed dresses, coats and boots that I’d love to have in my Winter wardrobe. Here are some of my favourites.

Whatever the weather may be…

I also have to decide whether to carry a brolly if it rains, boots or shoes , opaque tights…the list goes on. Continue reading
New Season Brights – Colour Pop!
Since I’m on clear out mode regarding my wardrobe I can’t go out and buy any more clothes but I wanted to inject some missing colour into my outfits. Also I’m trying hard to save each month so accessories are the best way to keep my look up to date but without splashing out lots of cash. Continue reading
Vintage inspired look – the forties
So I am currently putting together a vintage inspired 1940’s look for Secret Cinema (shush…don’t tell anyone) and I have found finding the right dress a bit of a exhausting task. There are several great vintage shops online but most cater for Continue reading
Peter Pan Wishes he had Collars Like This…
Want to add an extra zing to your outfit but jewellery just doesn’t go. I’ve found that when a top or dress has a high neckline a necklace or choker just looks kinda funny. Peter Pan Collars are everywhere at the moment, from dresses and blouses to coats and cardigans.
I’ve taken a look and found some stand alone collars that can be worn with several outfits. Think of them as jewellery or temporary embellishment for your clothes.
Beaded collar from Miss Selfridge – £18 Continue reading
