I’ve been working hard recently and enjoying spending a fair amount of time after work socialising and so my blog has been neglected a little (okay a lot). But I recently went along to Vogue’s Fashion Night Out on the 23rd of September, an evening where Regent’s Street, Oxford Street and the surrounding area came alive after hours with added attractions for shoppers and bloggers alike.
I was invited along to the Superdry event at their store in Regent’s Street where I was greeted by live music from The Fireflies (I thought they were going to be a girl group…not guitar wielding men).
A crowd of people all chatting about the event, sharing their blogging backgrounds, eating pic n mix and sipping on Chi coconut water browsed the latest collection from Superdry, Superdry Premium.
Leather jackets, tweeds from Timothy Everest and luxe pieces including sequinned skirts and camisoles.
Everyone was swarming around the leather jackets and I could see why.
Flatteringly cut in an asymmetrical style in buttery soft leather with subtle Superdry branding, the tasselled leather jacket was proving popular as it had also been worn by Poppy Delevingne earlier in the year. MTV presenter Lilah Parsons appeared as a guest wearing her own tassel jacket complete with her initials embroidered on the back.
Brogue boots, patterned shirts, watches and jeans rounded off the collection which also included some lovely menswear too.
There was also a preview of the new Snow collection from Superdry which featured all-in-one ski suits that are making a comeback this winter.
I was lucky enough to be offered my choice from the AW14 collection and I chose one of their classic windcheaters. When I took a long weekend to Wales recently it kept me warm and cosy when the coastal breezes stole away the warmth from the autumnal sun.
It’s definitely a coat that will take me through the winter and is perfect for days when I want to be out and about in the country.
