Revlon is in the pink

Me wearing Revlon's Just Bitten lip stain and gloss

The amount of lip stains out there is a godsend for me as I loathe the thought of smearing lipstick on everything, my boyfriend, clothes, glasses, teeth. I’ve got a couple of red colours already and a dusty pink but I’m not keen on wearing those everyday. This colour is passion by Revlon and I love it! It’s fresh and just perfect for Spring and Summer. It’s a like a colour pop for my lips. Mwuah!

It’s kind of odd for me as for years I avoided wearing pink as a rule. I always felt that it was only for girly girls and I was firmly not in that camp. But recently I have realised that as a blonde I actually suit pink and I like the way it looks. I’m still not a huge fan of baby pink (unless it’s powder pink jeans – the denim somehow makes it feel stronger) but hot pink is definitely not on my no no list any more.

So passion is here to stay and not only is the colour great it also doesn’t leave my lips feeling sticky, caked with grease (as some older lipsticks do) or dry. The simple balm is a nice touch as it leaves my lips feeling moisturised and not gloopy like a gloss.

When the weather comes back (boo weather this weekend) I shall be adorning my toes in a similar shade also by Revlon in a colour named Jelly. Here is my nails a few days after I painted them for an 80’s night out (there was only a few scuffs – pretty good considering).

So pink is in for me this year. Let’s hope that the weather picks up again soon. Not sure I can cope digging out all my winter shoes again and I want to show off my Jelly coloured toes 😉
